About this album:
- On his second full-length, Sam Beam “… launches balloons of sweetly whispered remorse over trance-inducing backwoods string preparations and watches them float away, his coronary heart in tow” “Equally assured with sweetly lilting pop and doom struck ballads, Beam invests these songs with hypnotic magnificence and glowing melody, making them as accessible as they’re affecting”
